Who is Charis White Celebrant?

My name is Charis White.

I am a celebrant, a wife, a mother and an artist. I also love Gin and Tonics, my dog Betty White and my husband (of course). I love being social and can often be found planning a get together with friends.

My journey as a celebrant started nine years ago when I had just given birth our first child. When I planned my wedding, I loved the process and wanted to get involved in the Wedding industry. Since I was staying at home with my son, I decided it was a great time to go back to school. I also am a trained Opera Singer and I always thought if I can sing in front of people I can also speak in front of people. This is where my journey started.

My celebrancy career has been amazing. I have been involved in over 500 weddings to date. I love each and every couple I get to marry. It is such a privilege  to be involved in someones wedding day.

I am definitely a caring person, who also loves to have a laugh. I pride myself on being organised and I love to make people feel at ease. I can often be found before a wedding, fussing over the groom and his groomsmen, making sure they look perfect. If the ceremony area is not set up correctly, I will jump in and fix the positioning of various elements. All in all, I want everyone to be comfortable and at ease on their wedding day.

Just a warning, I have a loud laugh and a Canadian accent–no not a Scottish accent.  I love to have a great time and I love a crazy story.
