Melbourne Celebrant | Charis White Celebrant | Monica and Bo | Stones of the Yarra Valley | Tealily Photography |

Monica and Bo came into my life in an unexpected way. Their celebrant broke her ankle and I was asked to fill in for her and officiate their wedding.

When we first met in the City, we chatted about their day and what they were wanting to include. I was quickly told how many people would be travelling for the occasion and how they wanted to highlight their parents in the ceremony.

They decided to do a present giving to the mothers as well as a wine box ceremony. The wine box ceremony means, you put a card and a bottle of wine in a beautiful wine box. During the ceremony this box is enclosed and on their first anniversary the box is open, the card is read and the wine is drank. The card will then be put back into the box, along with a new card and a new bottle of wine. This process of opening the wine box will then be repeated on their first anniversary and then will continue from there.

There were plenty of laughs during their ceremony when we highlighted their quirks and the funny things they love.

Stones of the Yarra Valley looked amazing, as usual.

Suede Ivy did the beautiful flowers. I love the pastel colour theme that Monica choose.

Tealily Photography and C2 films were documenting the day.

What a beautiful ceremony to be a part of. Thank you Monica and Bo
