All in all 2019 was shaped largely by pictures on INSTAGRAM. Clients are spending up big on visual spectacles at their wedding such as triangular arches, pampas grass installations as well as balloon installations. The most commonly used colour this wedding season was burgundy. This was followed closely by blush pink. Romantic scenes and soft textures have dominated this wedding season.Candy bars are out and statement cakes are in. Yes, you heard me right. No more candy bars people!!! The donut

Stunning Alice and Jonathan were married at Ascot House Receptions in an intimate ceremony. They had friends and family fly over from the U.K for their big day. They had originally booked The Willows and when it closed it’s doors, they were unfortunately left out of pocket. They went into damage control and found a new fabulous venue in Ascot House. Their love story is amazing as Alice was friends with Jon’s sister. They met through his sister and fell in love, so now Alice and her best friend

Super gorgeous Kat and Luke were married at The Abbotsford Convent, with Bursaria Catering. They were being taken care of by Gab from Bursaria and she was so delightful to work with.Their story is one of a kind, having met at a Venue Boys concert way back in the day. Luke was taking his sister for her birthday and Kat was a friend of Luke’s sister. They exchanged brief glances and words that evening and eventually they chatted over messenger and had their first date. Super talented Tony Evans

Tom and Kate were married at the Panama Dining Room. I love this venue, it always looks so stunning all dressed up for a wedding. The windows are to die for and the fact that you are in line with the tree tops makes it extra special. It’s Beautiful Here were the lovely photographers, it was so great to work with them. Georgieboy Melbourne did a beautiful job with the flowers. Eddie from Rutherford Entertainment was the lovely DJ, he was such a blast to work with. Kate and Tom were as excited

Tracey and Alex were married in a windswept 🌬 ceremony at Lakehouse Daylesford. As usual the venue looked absolutely amazing in preparation for the ceremony. The rains decided to make an entrance right as the bride walked down the aisle. Unfortunately, we had to push ahead, but this did not deter the bride and groom from being in the moment and enjoying their ceremony. Lovely Darin Collision was the photographer for the evening, it was great to work with him again.Irwin Guevarra was the

Kim and Grant were married at Rupert on Rupert. I love this venue. It is such a great space with beautiful plants adorning the feature wall. The deep blue colour of the back wall provides a beautiful backdrop for any floral arrangement. The staff are wonderful and the owners are to die for!!! Seriously, Marli is one of the loveliest and most stylish women I have met. Their ceremony was filled with beautiful stories and readings by their mothers.Lisa Drew weddings was the lovely photographer for

Marko and Kathryn are the most fabulous couple. I knew the first time I met them that they are a very special couple. Long distance relationships are never easy and when you can make a long distance relationship work, you know you are in for the long haul. There ceremony was moving with beautiful quotes and two reading done by Kathryn’s sister. We had a case of two worlds colliding this week when my husband sold them a house 🏠. This is the second time in 9 years that this coincidence has
